Home Managers, Registered Managers, Nursing Home Managers, Care Home Managers...

What makes you stand out from the crowd?

Do you believe you are the best at what you do?

This Home Managers position close to Dudley is the bee's knees. Do bee's even have knees?

Whether they do or they don't doesn't really matter, what is most important is that you are the best of the best.

Why?

Well this independent provider is seeking a new Home Manager due to their current Home Manager retiring. She has been there for seventeen + years, so these are mighty big shoes to fill.

This is a large nursing home, we are talking 80 beds roughly, employing around 130 staff, so no mean feat.

It is a luxury nursing home on a private road that offers nursing and dementia care, no expense is spared.

Family run, it's been well established for 30 + years and has a great reputation in the area and at last inspection received a 'Good' CQC rating.

The Director is looking for someone who likes autonomy, this will be your business, your baby if you were. The only person above you is the Director and he pops in once a week, apart from that you will be on your own. Feeling daunted yet?

OK, so there is some good support within the home with longstanding staff and some great department heads who are likely, I'm told, to make you feel very welcome from day one. They currently have no nurse vacancies as it's a great place to work.

The vast majority of residents are private, but they do have some via social services who have been there a long time.

Are you still interested? Well you should be as this is where it gets most interesting.

The Director has a goal and believes he has the home pivoted on journey to Outstanding, but needs your help to get there.

This is a project, but one that will be entirely yours, with no expense spared.

But he does expect the best:

  • You will have vast previous nursing home management experience ideally in a 60+ bed setting.
  • You will be a registered nurse, although he may consider a non nurse with sound results in a nursing setting like the above.
  • You will have the desired qualifications at this level including an NVQ 5 in Leadership and Management.
  • What will set you apart from the rest is any previous evidence of 'Outstanding' results in CQC inspections.

You will be either a current Registered Manager of a large nursing home, or have previous experience in this field.

You may be an experienced senior manager, either in Area or Operations Management with results to boot and perhaps looking to take on a new project in a fixed location.

In return check this out for a benefits package:

  • Salary £70,000 per annum
  • Quarterly performance bonus of up to £2,500 - totalling £10,000 per annum
  • On achieving an overall rating of 'Outstanding' a one off payment of £50,000 + an automatic 20% increase on your salary.

That's right, when you do the maths this package is an eye watering £144,000 which has got to be the biggest Home Managers salary we have ever worked on.

So what are you waiting for, if you tick the boxes above, believe you have what it takes and want to hear more about this once in a lifetime opportunity, then lets talk.

Call Tim in confidence on 0161 914 5722 or apply with a CV, even if it's not up to date, he can help you with this.

Only the very best will be considered so prepare to be put to the test!
