Nurse / Clinical Lead Nurse / Deputy Manager

to help run this really lovely Nursing Home.


Would you like to be the Deputy Manager and Clinical Lead Nurse for this lovely home?

Its a 40 hour a week role, with supernumerary hours available supporting the RNs and the Care Practitioners and the Manager of course.

With a very competitive salary of £19p/h you could be earning £39,520 per annum.


Role Details

To positively support the Registered Manager in providing leadership to the administration, care, catering, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance functions of The Home.
To deputise for the function of the Registered Manager during their absence, while at all times supporting the decisions made by the Registered Manager.
To maintain care and management skills at a current level, and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain that currency of practice.
To manage the services within The Home in accordance with standards agreed with the Registered Manager, Registered Provider, legislative requirements, relevant regulations, and in line with accepted best practice, and within the financial plans agreed from time-to-time with the Registered Provider.

Training - Appropriate training will be organised, NVQ L5 supported and encouraged.

Requirements for this position

In order to be considered for this role you must: - Be a qualified nurse with current NMC PIN either RGN or RMN - Be up to date with most recent clinical practices - Be experienced in mentoring junior members of staff - Enjoy elderly care and caring for residents some of which live with dementia
