These days you see more buzz words such as 'purpose built,' 'state of the art' and 'advanced technology,' which all sound great if you were considering a new set of wheels to buy, but would it be what you want or granny for that matter when it comes to care?
Now ask yourself the same question, but with regards to work. Yes those buzz words are impressive, but would it convince to go and work there just because they have fancy technology?
Thought not.
So what is important?
How about homely, well-staffed, with computerised care plans and an owner who is not trying to make a quick buck and see's this small home as a long term investment. Yes it may not be 'purpose built,' but this building has history and character and in fact it has got something most nursing homes don't have, but you will have to enquire further to find out.
In fact this small home has more than most, with fabulous resources available, you will be given the autonomy to manage the home as you see fit.
Part of a small portfolio of four homes, two of which are in North Wales, you will be well supported and benefit from a generous package of up to £45k which is unrivalled for this size of home.
With onsite accommodation available for staff, an activities team with a fabulous activities space, an administration and maintenance team, they even employ a dining assistant. Residents as you can see are well supported.

For this role you must be a qualified nurse, either RGN or RMN registered with the NMC. Previous management experience within a nursing home setting is desired and if you have a qualification in leadership and management (NVQ 4, 5 or RMA) even better.
